Grants range from USD $10,000 to $100,000 over two years, depending on the stage of activism. The program aims to seed, resource, and sustain feminist tech movements, challenging the global north’s dominance in tech funding and decision‑making.

The grant supports feminist tech organising across:
- Africa (West, Central, East, Southern)
- Asia (South, Southeast, East)
- WANA (West Asia, North Africa, Arabic‑speaking countries)
- Latin America
- Caribbean
- Pacific Islands
- Eastern Europe & Central Asia
- Indigenous & migrant communities globally
Type:
Multi‑year feminist tech grant (USD $10,000–$100,000).
Who can Apply?
Applicants must be:
- Initiatives, collectives, groups, or organisations (not individuals).
- Based in the Larger Majority World (outside Western Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand).
- Focused on feminist tech activism.
- At least two people (minimum size).
- Led by communities historically subjected to discrimination or exclusion (e.g., Indigenous, Afro‑descendant, migrant, refugee, LBTQI+, people with disabilities, rural women, sex workers).
- At any stage: new, emerging, established, or experienced.
How are Applicants Selected?
Applications are reviewed by:
- Numun Fund team (screening & longlisting).
- Community‑led selection committee (CLSC) including activists, feminist tech practitioners, and Numun nodes.
- Evaluation based on activism relevance, community leadership, sustainability, and feminist tech focus.

All regions in the Larger Majority World, plus Indigenous/migrant communities globally.
Where will the Opportunity be Taken?
Global — with emphasis on Larger Majority World contexts. Includes webinars and Q&A sessions in multiple languages.

Funding pool of USD 1.75 million over two years, distributed across Seed, Grow, and Sustain categories.
