How are Applicants Selected?

Selection occurs in two phases:

  • National selection: Each ECOWAS Member State nominates half of its slots; the rest are open to public applications.
  • Regional finals: Finalists pitch before an independent jury in Abuja. Judges are drawn from industry, investment, and policy backgrounds.
