Tell Me About The Grant:
The Nigerian Women Trust Fund (NWTF) Grant 2026 supports women-led and women-focused organizations in Nigeria. It aims to strengthen institutions, amplify women’s voices, advance women’s rights, and combat gender-based violence.
The grant provides:
- Financial support for projects
- Mentorship and leadership training
- Capacity-building opportunities
Project Duration: 4 months (January – April 2026)

Grant for organizations
Who can Apply?
- Registered NGOs or CBOs in Nigeria, operating for at least 2 years
- Majority female staff and board members
- Organizations with functional administrative, financial, and HR systems
- Projects must be innovative, realistic, and clearly targeted
Encouraged applicants:
- Women-led organizations
- Organizations serving or led by Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
- Organizations in hard-to-reach communities
Note: Political, government, for-profit, scholarship-focused, or religious conversion-related proposals will not be considered.
How are Applicants Selected:
- Based on organizational capacity, innovation, and potential impact in promoting women’s leadership and rights
- Alignment with NWTF thematic areas: capacity building, advocacy, gender equality, and ending violence against women
