The AI4D Innovation Scaling Challenge 2025 supports already deployed and in-use AI innovations that are ready to scale and deliver measurable social impact. Organized by the Lab for Ethics, Policy and Scaling of AI (LEPSAI) at the African Center for Technology Studies (ACTS), the challenge is part of the Artificial Intelligence for Development (AI4D) program funded by Canada’s IDRC and the UK’s FCDO. It seeks to promote responsible, inclusive, and impactful AI across Africa by helping existing solutions scale to wider populations.

Support will be provided remotely and in collaboration with LEPSAI and the AI4D network. Selected projects will receive both financial and technical assistance within their country of operation.
