The MTN ICT Business Skills Training Program, in partnership with Meta, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Cisco, IBM, KPMG, and Digital Bridge Institute, is a youth development initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerian entrepreneurs (18–35 years) with tech‑enabled business skills. The programme helps microbusiness owners remain competitive in today’s digital economy.

Phase 8 specifically targets female microbusiness owners in six Nigerian states, combining training, mentorship, and grant support.

Which Sectors are Eligible?

Microbusinesses across diverse sectors, including:

  • ICT & digital services
  • Retail & trade
  • Agribusiness
  • Creative industries
  • Service enterprises

Type:

Training programme + equipment grant.

Who can Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian women aged 18–35.
  • Own and manage a microbusiness operational for no more than 2 years.
  • Be located in one of the six eligible states:
    • Rivers
    • Abia
    • Ogun
    • Kwara
    • Kano
    • Gombe

How are Applicants Selected?

Selection is based on:

  • Meeting eligibility criteria (age, gender, location, business stage).
